Hi A comment on the new review of physics being set up. From the draft terms of review, it is stated that there were other reviews that were done (point #5). Considering the state of physics in South Africa at the moment, it is apparent that these reviews and their proposals have been inadequate. Have the problems with these previous reviews and proposals been identified so that they will not be repeated once again? Can it be stated explicitly why these previous reviews and proposals have failed? If you know why something has failed, you are in a much better position to build it better again. Regards Daven
